About NYPP

The Network of Young Patriotic Professionals was founded on January 9, 2016, by a group of young and vibrant youths from various professions, who came together to positively impact the Nigerian society through empowerment programs in order to contribute to the country’s development both in the short and long term for sustainable development, peace, and security. NYPP aimed at improving the educational system from the grassroot (primary education) as a means to enhancing children with basic knowledge particularly the girl child on the importance of education and preparing them for standardized test. The NYPP seeks to promote quality educational programs that prepares students ahead and forges them to become critical thinkers, team-builders, outstanding confidence and spectacular communicators. We view education as a tool that can be utilized to eradicate poverty by providing educational opportunities to girls and boys and empowering the lives of women, youth, girls and boys through capacity building/skills acquisition programs.

The NYPP in its capacity has empowered and promoted girl child education and has supported over 50 students through primary and secondary school both in Nigeria and Liberia. We have implemented several educational programs that has changed the lives of primary school students where basic necessities are provided such as, primary text and note books, school bags, dictionaries, and scholarships given to the winners of the programs. We provide holistic interventions that aims to address the shortcoming of the Nigerian educational system by implementing programs that will challenge and boost the brain capacity of the pupils.

The NYPP has continuously sought ways of improving the lives of women, girls and children in Nigeria and beyond through standardized educational programs and capacity building measures that not only creates access to education but also provides awareness on Sexual and Reproductive health and rights (SRHR), Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), Advocacy and community mobilization and sensitization on women’s rights, gender equity and livelihood skills as a means to achieving gender parity in a more peaceful, secured and sustainable developed society.

Education is the key to achieving gender parity in a more peaceful, secured and sustainable developed society.
